About the role

This is a role to support young people and children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties within a Primary and Secondary schools.

We are ideally looking for Education – mental health support worker candidates with full time availability Monday to Friday 8:30 - 4.

This Education – mental health support worker position is initially through Vision for Education on a daily rate however the chance of a contract being offered after 18 weeks is highly likely for the right candidate. The desirable candidate will be prepared to complete essential training prior to starting in this setting. We are looking for candidates to begin on our supply register from September 2023.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Mental Health Support Worker you will:

  • You must be enthusiastic and have the ability to build a rapport with students, be resilient, flexible and be able to think fast on your feet to adapt to challenging situations.
  • Our ideal candidate for this role must have relative experience within the last 2 years that we are able to gain professional, performance-based references within an Education setting

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Relevant experience in the past few years working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
