Overview

We are seeking an available Health & Social Care Lecturer to join a well known Ashford based educational organisation until the end of term

25.00 to 30.00/hour, holiday accrued, weekly paid, reduced parking and on street parking. Wednesday to Friday 12 hours per week.

The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and ideally you will be on the update service, however we will cover the cost of a new DBS if this is not the case.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure inclusive and up-to-date content, lesson planning and scheme of works
  • Teaching L3 Technical Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care
  • Provide support and guidance to students to facilitate their success in the field.
  • Foster an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for all students.

Qualifications

  • L5 Teaching qualification, L3 Health and Social Care, Assessors, Internal quality assurance would be desirable but not essential

Experience

You Must be a qualified teacher and have experience of working in the Sector along with an in depth knowledge of the Health and Social care sector to include Empowerment in Health & Social Care, Protection of children, young people and adults in health and social care, Anatomy & Physiology, Research Skills for Health & Social Care, Personal & Professional Development, Health Education, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Role of Play in Health, Positive Behaviour Support
