Job Title: Warehouse/Yard Operative
Location: Ashford, Kent (You MUST be a driver with your own transport due to location)
Salary: 27,040 - 29,120
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.00am - 5.30pm

A well-established distributor with a strong reputation for supplying high-quality products to customers across the UK and Europe.
The Role:
Your responsibilities will include tasks such as unloading deliveries, inspection of products and packaging finished goods.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:
- Handball or use a forklift to unload incoming shipments and containers.
- Pick items as per customer orders.
- Pack products carefully to avoid damage during transport.
- Label and wrap orders ready for distribution.
- Palletise deliveries ready for courier collection.
- Communicate any damages, stock discrepancies and stock shortages.
- Store stock away correctly.
- Conduct quality checks on incoming products.
- Move stock around the warehouse to ensure a tidy working environment.
- Deliver products to customers using the company vehicle.
Experience and skills required for this position:
- You will need to be a driver due to location and have a clean licence.
- You will need to be above 25 due to vehicle insurance.
- You will have experience using a forklift (an in house or expired licence will be accepted)
- Previous warehouse experience
- The ability to prioritise your own workload
