Vision for Education is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team and work across a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools in Ashford. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs, helping them to reach their full potential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs.

  • Work closely with class teachers and other support staff to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.

  • Support students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, adapting approaches to suit individual needs.

  • Assist with classroom activities, behaviour management, and personal care (where required).

About You:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable, but not essential – training will be provided.

  • A patient, caring and adaptable nature.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • A genuine passion for helping children and young people thrive.
