ABOUT THE ROLE

We teach through a thematic curriculum in our Primary phase and a creative/cross-curricular approach in our secondary Key Stage 3 phase. In Key Stage 4, pupils work towards accredited qualifications, being taught by subject-specific teachers.

YOU WILL NEED TO BE

  • A good/outstanding teacher with successful teaching experience in mainstream or special education settings.
  • Committed to providing high-quality educational opportunities for pupils with a range of learning needs including Autism and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
  • Able to work as part of a highly effective team.
  • Strongly committed to inclusion.
  • Excellent in communication skills.
  • Proficient in a good range of IT skills.
  • Qualified Teacher Status or a desire to work towards this.

We invite teachers across a range of subjects from both mainstream and SEN sectors to apply; a broad subject knowledge across a range of subjects is essential as you will be required to teach across the curriculum. A love of practical and outdoor experiences would be important as these are key to our curriculum offer.
