Job Title: Technical Administrator - Maintenance Department

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the technical administration of the Maintenance department. You will collaborate with a team dedicated to site maintenance, contractor activities, and engineering planning. Your primary focus will be on managing the administrative tasks associated with this function, and you will report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer engineering notifications effectively.
  • Create work orders for notifications, ensuring the correct functional locations and cost centres are used.
  • Assign work orders to internal or external maintenance personnel.
  • Monitor work order backlogs to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure the technical completion of work orders.
  • Add notifications based on service reports and insurance reports.
  • Raise purchase orders in accordance with purchasing procedures, record goods receipts, and file service reports and quotes in company record systems.
  • Support the Maintenance department in tracking and monitoring departmental metrics and KPIs.
  • Maintain and provide all necessary documentation for audit requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and development of Engineering Standards and Compliance Policies.
  • Log callouts to third-party service providers as needed.
  • Communicate with site stakeholders to receive requests and provide feedback as necessary.
  • Coordinate with other departments to resolve issues effectively.
  • Liaise with external service providers to ensure all certification and compliance documentation is present and up to date.
  • Participate in additional activities within the engineering team to maintain the operational performance of the site.


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a technical administrative role.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with computer systems.
  • Familiarity with work order systems (SAP preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills.
