Class Teacher
Prospero Teaching is looking for a passionate and proactive Class Teacher to support the pupils learning and development, in one of our Primary Schools in Ashington on a full-time and long-term basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to build positive relationships with pupils and have a long-term, positive impact on their progress and development inside and outside the classroom.
Responsibilities:
- The role will involve planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons that inspire pupils and allows all pupils to make progress regardless of their ability levels.
- Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments.
- Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner.
- Differentiating lessons appropriately to suit the needs and learning styles of the class.
- Using varied methods of assessment to the pupil's progress.

- The role is based in a Primary School in Ashington.
- There is an opportunity for the role to be based across any age group from EYFS to Year 6., depending on the experience, specialism and preference of the successful Candidate.
- The school has an outstanding supportive culture and Leadership Team, where staff work as a Team within classrooms to provide highest level of support to pupils.

- Contract:Full-Time
- Hours: 8:30-3:30
- Pay: 600-1000
Experience/Qualifications and Requirements:
- An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service but this is not essential as we can process a new one for you)
- QTS and Primary School Teaching experience within the UK.
- Experience of short, medium and long-term planning
- Experience of utilising a range of methods to assess pupil progress
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Strong relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport
- A positive and resilient attitude towards Teaching and work
- Experience Teaching within the UK
- Strong organisation and communication skills
