My client is a growing, family-run construction business specialising in refurbishment and fit-out projects across government and education sectors. The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing 2 to 3 projects at any one time, with individual values ranging from £10,000 to £200,000. As you develop within the business, opportunities to manage larger projects and take on greater responsibility will become available.

Sectors of Work

- Government Buildings (e.g. Job Centres, DWP): Security upgrades, general refurbishments, and fire door installations.

- Educational Buildings: Fit-outs, refurbishments, and new-build projects.

The role involves both office and site-based work. No two weeks are the same - reflecting the dynamic nature of the construction industry.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00



Salary & Progression

- Starting Salary: £35,000 - £39,500 (dependent on experience and performance)

- Appraisals: Conducted every 6 months

- Promotions: No fixed timelines - progression is based on individual performance and company growth



Additional Information

- Overtime: Not applicable - this is a salaried position

- Night/Weekend Shifts: Included in salary - no additional differential pay

- Performance Bonuses: Discretionary - based on delivery success (e.g. under budget, ahead of schedule)

- Holiday Entitlement: 20 days plus bank holidays. A portion of annual leave must be reserved for the Christmas shutdown period.
