Reeson Education is recruiting a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a wonderful SEN/SEMH secondary school in the OL6 area of Tameside. The role is to start as soon as possible, with the potential to become a permanent position once on contract. As a SEN Teacher, you will be teaching a variety of subjects, tailoring lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and other learning challenges. The school has a fantastic team of educators and support staff, all working together to ensure that each pupil thrives in an environment suited to their needs.

Key Responsibilities for the SEN Teacher:* Teach a variety of subjects to secondary-aged pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, and other learning needs.* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual learning needs of pupils.* Provide in-class support and one-to-one interventions where necessary.* Work closely with the SENCO and other teaching staff to implement individualised learning plans.* Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that encourages pupil engagement, confidence, and academic progress.* Manage behaviour positively and create a calm, supportive classroom atmosphere.

The Ideal SEN Teacher Will:* Be a fully qualified teacher with experience teaching pupils with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, or other learning difficulties.* Have a passion for supporting children and young people in special educational needs settings.* Be adaptable, proactive, and able to think on your feet.* Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.* Have a calm, patient, and nurturing approach to teaching.* Be committed to creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

SEN Teacher Requirements:* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).* Experience in teaching pupils with SEND, particularly SEMH, ASD, ADHD.* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).* Right to work in the UK.* Strong references covering the last 2-3 years.* A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.
