Job Title: Bookkeeper

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our busy and growing practice in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is AAT qualified and looking to join a supportive, professional environment with a steady client base.
Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for a variety of clients
Perform bank reconciliations and manage client accounts
Process invoices, receipts, and payments
Prepare and submit VAT returns
Support in the preparation of management accounts
Liaise with clients and HMRC as required
Assist with year-end accounts preparation
Use accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar
Minimum 5 years experience in a practice environment (essential)
AAT qualified (Level 3 or above)
Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proficient in cloud-based accounting software
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work with multiple clients
Competitive salary between £25,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience)
