We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Paid Media Assistant to help lead the planning and execution of high-performing paid media campaigns across Aldi UK.  This role offers the chance to develop your expertise across a wide range of media channels and play a key role in delivering campaigns that reach and resonate with millions of customers. You’ll work closely with the Paid Media Manager and wider team to ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently, creatively, and with clear commercial impact.  Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and confident agency and stakeholder management will be essential to success in this role.

Your New Role:

  • Managing and maintaining the Aldi UK paid media campaign calendar 
  • Supporting campaign planning using audience, business and competitor insights 
  • Briefing and collaborating with creative partners to deliver high-quality assets 
  • Monitoring industry and competitor activity to inform creative and media recommendations 
  • Managing agency partners to deliver effective, efficient and timely media plans 
  • Interpreting performance data and KPIs to optimise and refine campaign strategies
  • Creating regular reporting and insight to support decision-making and continuous improvement 

About You

  • Experience in a paid media or campaign delivery role 
  • A solid understanding of the media landscape, including planning, buying and measurement 
  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills 
  • High attention to detail and strong analytical ability 
  • Confidence to challenge, problem-solve and bring ideas to the table 
  • Experience managing external partners or agencies
  • Proven experience working on campaign execution across multiple paid media channels, with a strong focus on operational efficiency, quality control, and attention to detail 
  • Experience briefing, reviewing and providing feedback on creative assets in collaboration with internal teams and external creative agencies 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with a range of stakeholders, including media and creative agencies, internal marketing functions, and cross-functional teams 
  • Experience using data and insights to support decision-making, drive media effectiveness, and identify opportunities for process improvement or performance optimisation
