We’re on the lookout for a passionate food enthusiast to join our Sampling Department as a Sampling Assistant.

Your New Role

In this role, you'll support our Buying team by preparing and presenting product samples for evaluation and decision making. Including:

• Prepare food samples to exacting standards, ensuring they’re ready for assessment on time

 • Maintain an organised and efficient workspace to facilitate smooth sample preparation

• Follow all relevant food safety and handling procedure

About You

Essential:

• A genuine passion for food and attention to detail

• The ability to work independently at pace, and with initiative to thrive in a hands-on environment

• Strong communication skills and confidence to engage with colleagues across all levels

• A team-oriented mindset and willingness to go the extra mile

• Track record that demonstrates punctuality, dependability & integrity

• Retail/Hospitality Experience

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Excel & Teams

• Attention to detail and Accuracy

• Confident communicator

• Team Player

• Cross -functional working

• Engaging, dynamic and versatile

• Commercial awareness

Desirable:

  • Food Safety Level 2
  • An enthusiasm for helping your colleagues to succeed.
