Your New Role
- Â Responsibility of the operational execution, creation and monitoring of Special Buy purchase orders for Aldi DCs and subsequent distribution to Stores.
- Monitoring Special Buy purchase orders throughout the Supply Chain to ensure that both Stores and DCs receive the right product in the right place, at the right time.
- Planning and managing allocations to ensure Stores receive the correct volumes of every Special Buy.
- Monitoring and actioning reports within the relevant area of responsibility, such as On Sale Date performance.
- Managing day-to-day service level of Suppliers and discussing any Supplier performance issues with relevant internal stakeholders so issues do not persist.
- Internal and external stakeholder engagement and management of all levels of the business. Daily communication with internal departments internally such as Supply Planning, Buying, Forecasting.
- Continuous improvement within role, simplifying processes and operations to maximise efficiencies.
- Plan and execute business-wide replenishment strategies and proactively adjust based on changing market conditions at Store, Regional and National level.
- Being the primary contact for all stakeholders for any Special Buy related queries and resolution support
- Daily usage of SAP Application, Master Data, Tableau, and other analytic applications.
About You
- Demonstrate understanding of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
- Professional work experience in Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
- Confidence and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues of all levels.
- Ability to adapt quickly to change, managing change effectively and with a positive attitude, whether this be last minute changes to Special Buy dates or changes and improvements within SAP.
- Organisational skills with the ability to identify and manage priorities.
- Innate curiosity: always striving to improve and simplify processes and ensure consistency wherever possible.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task, be pro-active and work on own initiative.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel and Word.
- Taking ownership and accountability of their area of responsibility.
Desirable
- Supply Chain department experience.
- Highly experienced in Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
- Knowledge of Supply Chain systems (SAP, Demand Planning systems/TMS/WMS/Portals etc.)
- Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.
- Demonstrate ability to design and implement solutions effectively.
