AD Plant Operator 

We are working with a forward thinking client within the green energy sector. They have 2 new opportunities for operators to join their Attleborough site 

Summary of the role:
The Operator assists the Site Manager in the efficient and effective running of the plant. Working a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern 7am - 6pm with call out responsibilities and flexibility to ensure that the plant has cover every day.

Roles and Responsibilities
• Day to day operations on the Anaerobic Digestion plant.
• Running the plant via a SCADA system, ensuring the plant is running as it should via the screens.
• Visual plant and equipment fault-finding.
• Performing first line maintenance activities, such as isolating and changing a pump.
• Use of mobile plant (telehandler & loading shovel).
• Testing In-coming feedstock to ensure it meets the required standards.
• Carrying out daily site inspections to ensure downtime can be minimised.
• Keeping the site clean and tidy.
• Documentation & compliance.
• Contributing to positive site operations and looking for continuous improvement opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications
• A qualification in an engineering discipline would be desirable but not essential (Completed apprenticeship or HNC / HND in mechanical or electrical engineering for example).

Knowledge and Experience
• Anaerobic digestion site experience is preferred but not essential 
• Operations or Engineering experience desirable.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Commitment to achieve the highest standards of work at all times
• Takes full ownership of tasks through to conclusion
