Sonic Summary
- Galaxy Personnel is seeking a Technical Team member for a permanent position on day shifts from 06:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.
- The role involves conducting routine Food Safety, Legality, and Quality checks on raw materials, work in progress, and finished products.
- Candidates should ideally have experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and possess Level 2 Food Hygiene/Safety certification.
- The position offers a salary starting from £13.50 per hour, with expected hours of 47.5 per week and additional benefits including a bonus scheme and gym membership.

The candidate will be working in all areas of the factory as required, walking the factory floor to identify any issues ahead of them arising, taking appropriate action and dealing with issues as and when required.
The work is permanent on dayshifts (06.00 - 16.00) Monday to Friday
Rotating QA and label verifier role.
Routine Food Safety, Legality and Quality checks on raw materials, WIP and finished products.
Managing corrective actions making sure corrective actions are completed within appropriate timescales and that the relevant documents have been completed e.g., hold log, non-conformance log and reporting any complex issues to line manager.
Hygiene audits, environmental swabbing and micro sampling product.
Verifying finished product label information and managing on the online label verifier, including reel changes and troubleshooting.
Develop in-depth knowledge of automatic labeller and verifier machine.
Formal GMP and process control document completion.
Requirements:
Ideally have experience of working within a fast- paced food manufacturing environment.
A good level of both written and verbal English.
Ideally have Level 2 Food Hygiene/Safety certification.
