Multi Skilled Engineer

Alexander Steele is working with a leading food manufacturing business based in Norfolk. Our client is looking for an experienced multi skilled engineer to join the business on a permanent basis. The role holder will be responsible for testing and repairing equipment across the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repair work on a wide range of production equipment, including vehicles and other machinery.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimise downtime and production interruptions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and product quality.
  • Conform to safety rules and apply good electrical and safety practices.

Background Experience:

  • Engineering degree or relatable qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing or processing environment.
  • Strong fault-finding skills
  • Excellent ability to communicate with stakeholders across various levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and an exceptional attention to detail.
