Trainee Accountant – Aylesbury – Up to £28,000We’re working with a well-established accountancy practice in Aylesbury that is looking to recruit a Trainee Accountant with a minimum of 12 months’ experience in practice.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is already on their accountancy journey and looking to build on their existing knowledge in a supportive and professional environment. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with a varied client portfolio, develop your technical skills, and continue working towards a professional qualification (such as AAT, ACCA, or ACA).The Role:

Preparing year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Assisting with VAT returns and management accounts
Supporting senior team members with audit work where applicable
Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
Using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage

Requirements:

Minimum of 12 months’ experience in an accountancy practice
Studying towards AAT, ACCA, or ACA (or planning to begin studies)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
A team player with a proactive attitude
You must be able to drive, as client visits will be part of your job
