Senior Machine Operative

Location:  Aylesbury 
Contract Type: 3 Month contract. 
Start Date: 15th December 2025

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (5 nights per week)
• Pay Rate: £17.44 – £18.46 per hour

We are seeking a mechanically minded Senior Machine Operative to join our night shift team. This role involves setting up and operating production line machinery and filling machines, performing routine checks, and carrying out basic maintenance and troubleshooting.

You will spend approximately 70% of your time as a Production Operative and 30% on machine-related tasks. When not working on machine setup or maintenance, you will assist on the production line to ensure smooth operations.

• Set up and operate production line and filling machines
• Perform routine checks and basic mechanical maintenance
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues
• Complete line setups and ensure compliance with PPM schedules
• Support production line activities when required

• Proven experience working on production lines and machine setups
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Reliable, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Background in Food or FMCG manufacturing
• Familiarity with BOSIAL PPM processes
