CNC Operator - Position Overview
- Operate and maintain Doosan CNC lathe machinery to produce high-precision blow mould components
- Set up machines in accordance with job specifications and engineering drawings
- Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure optimal performance and product accuracy
- Inspect finished parts using appropriate measuring tools to maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
- Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime
- Collaborate with engineering and tooling teams to ensure smooth workflow and efficient production
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a high-performance workshop culture
- Maintain accurate production records and quality control documentation as required
CNC Operator - Position Requirements
- Proven experience operating Doosan CNC lathe machinery
- Previous experience in a precision engineering or tooling/manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
- Strong understanding of machining tolerances and quality control standards
- Good mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and accuracy
- Capable of working independently and as part of a small, high-performing team
CNC Operator - Position Remuneration
- Salary of 32,000 - 35,000, depending on experience (Overtime available, paid at time and a half)
- Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30 shift pattern
- 20 days holiday allowance plus bank holidays
