The Role;
You will be supervising a small team of CNC machinists and apprentices, ensuring parts are being machined correctly and to the highest of standards. You will be carrying out offline programming, assisting on the shopfloor and even machining some complex parts yourself! This is a hybrid role between being at your desk programming, organising work onto the machines and being down with the team producing the parts.
The Business;
You will be working for a leading supplier of specialist machined and fabricated parts into the F1 and Motorsport industries. The business are small to medium size but with a big reputation in the industry for what they produce! Did I forget to mention, they offer a 4-day working week! A guaranteed 3-day weekend every week sounds unbelievable doesn't it?
What we need from you;
- Previous 5 axis offline programming experience using Hypermill software
- Prior experience of machining up to 5 axis and the willingness to continue to do this
- Leadership qualities and desire to mentor others in the team
