Working Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 (Monday to Sunday - 5 days per week, 40 hours total)
Dress Code: Safety shoes, high visibility jacket, hard hat, casual clothing
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Industrial Operative (Litter Picker) for a temporary assignment at a landfill site in HP9. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the site.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and remove litter and waste materials from designated areas across the site
Ensure all litter is disposed of in the appropriate containers
Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Report any hazards or issues to site supervisors
Work both independently and as part of a team
Follow site safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
Requirements:
Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
Punctual, dependable, and able to work well with minimal supervision
Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
Must have access to appropriate PPE: safety shoes, high visibility jacket, and hard hat
