An inviting and well-supported primary school in Long Crendon is currently seeking a committed Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team for an immediate start. The Role

You will take full responsibility for a Reception class, planning and delivering a stimulating curriculum that supports early literacy, numeracy, social skills, and personal development. The role also involves close partnership with teaching assistants, parents, and the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the EYFS framework

  • Monitor and assess children’s progress through observations and formative assessment

  • Foster a safe, happy, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers about children's learning and wellbeing

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and Early Years team

What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – ECTs and experienced teachers welcome

  • Experience teaching in Early Years, ideally within a Reception setting

  • Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and early childhood development

  • A nurturing and patient approach with excellent classroom management skills

  • Strong communication and organisational abilities
