Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join their residential children's home in Aylesbury. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and driven professional to play a key role in providing high-quality care and support to young people.
Key Responsibilities:Assist the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
Support and mentor staff to ensure high standards of care are maintained
Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures
Contribute to care planning and behavioural management strategies
Lead by example, creating a safe and nurturing environment for young people
Experience in a residential children's home setting
Strong leadership and staff management skills
Good knowledge of Ofsted requirements and safeguarding procedures
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards it
Passion for making a positive impact on young peoples lives
£40,000 salary
