Acoustics Technical Lead - South East England

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be representing a market-leading provider of sound and vibration instrumentation based in the South East of England. Our client offers hire services, live-to-web monitoring, and UKAS-accredited laboratory services. They are now seeking an Acoustics Technical Lead to strengthen their team in the South East England region.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced acoustics professional to join a forward-thinking company in South East England. As Acoustics Technical Lead, you will oversee the development and delivery of products, systems, and services, while acting as a key technical representative both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a deep understanding of the product range and deliver outstanding technical support.

  • Manage and continuously improve the LivEnviro monitoring system.

  • Collaborate with suppliers on technical developments and challenges.

  • Represent the company at industry events, including those run by the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).

  • Train colleagues, support the sales team on complex projects, and contribute to marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • Degree in acoustics or a related field.

  • Member (or working towards) of the Institute of Acoustics.

  • Strong background in environmental or building acoustics.

  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
