Cover Supervisor

Do you enjoy working with young people and have a passion for education? Schools across Buckinghamshire are seeking confident, adaptable Cover Supervisors to support students across Key Stages 3 to 5. Whether you are experienced in the role or looking to gain valuable classroom experience, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.

• Supervise lessons across a range of subjects in the absence of the class teacher

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged

• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment

• Support pupils with their learning and respond to questions where appropriate

• Manage behaviour in line with school policies

• Previous experience in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential)

• QTS or relevant classroom experience is advantageous

• Strong classroom management skills and confident communication

• Flexible and able to adapt to different subjects and year groups

• A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Ability to provide a minimum of two years’ employment references
