About the Role:
A supportive and inclusive school in Aylesbury is looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated support to a pupil with additional needs. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a child’s learning and development in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a pupil in the classroom and during other school activities
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and adapting resources as required
  • Implement strategies and support plans set by the SENCO or specialist staff
  • Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and social development

Requirements:

  • Experience working 1:1 with children, ideally with SEN or additional needs
