The Role:
- Full-time, long-term position with the potential to go permanent
- Competitive daily rate of 85-95 per day
- Supporting learners with SEMH and behavioural needs in and out of the classroom
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering lessons across the curriculum, including GCSE and Functional Skills
- Building positive relationships with pupils, providing consistent structure, encouragement and guidance
- Working within a dynamic, supportive team in a specialist provision that focuses on both academic and personal growth
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, support work or care settings welcome)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport with learners
- Resilient, patient, and able to remain calm in challenging situations
- A genuine interest in supporting learners with SEMH needs and challenging behaviours
- A proactive, adaptable approach with a willingness to learn and develop
