Assistant Site Manager
Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Start Date: Monday 1st September 2025
Pay: £240 – £250 per day
ARC Group are recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to join a project in Aylesbury, overseeing the construction of commercial and retail units. This role is initially holiday cover for a couple of weeks, however there is potential for further work on upcoming projects with the same contractor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Site Manager with daily site operations
- Supervise trades and subcontractors on site
- Ensure Health & Safety standards are upheld at all times
- Support programme delivery to ensure deadlines are met
- Maintain quality and site standards throughout the build
- Liaise with project team and subcontractors effectively
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Assistant Site Manager role (or similar)
- Background in managing the cladding, roofing and steel erection element of previous projects, would be advantageous due to stage of build.
- Good knowledge of commercial build projects
- Valid SMSTS or SSSTS
- CSCS card
- First Aid at Work
