Senior Packaging Operator responsibilities:
- Ensuring adherence to all safety regulations within the packaging unit.
- Conducting regular quality checks to ensure packaging standards are met.
- Understand potential risks in packaging and mitigation against these risks.
- Facilitating timely maintenance and repairs of packaging machinery.
- Analyse the performance of the packaging lines and suggest ways in which the efficiency of packaging can be improved.
- Work with the Packaging lead and Head of Production to make operational improvements, to update SOPs and train the team as appropriate.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Managing inventory of packaging supplies.
