Department: Factory Services Engineering

Job Location: Milton Keynes area

Days Monday to Friday days working,  plus overtime

Job Reward: up to £50k plus package

Role and Responsibilities - Days Site Facilities Engineer

  • Responsible for boiler, gas, air compressor compliance and maintenance, plant compliance and maintenance,  supporting the process manufacturing department with the running and monitoring of the plant
  • Maintenance of the building fabric and everything contained within the perimeter including plant rooms, compressors, fire services, , chilling , switch gear and related
  • Facilities Engineering Technician work within and supporting  the manufacturing areas
  • Maintain and provide support to trouble shooting on utilities services plant
  • Provide support to site to identify and carry out corrective actions
  • Resolve breakdowns relating to Utilities plant
  • Responsible for corrective maintenance
  • Effluent plant maintenance, and supporting the process department with the running and monitoring of the plant
  • Supporting the delivery of the agreed manufacturing vision through continuous improvement and working with their peers and colleagues to realise synergies across sites. A primary aim will be to ensure the site is working to attain optimum efficiencies, effectiveness, and profitability
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and hygiene standards
  • Implement efficient asset care programs and standardized maintenance systems.

 Qualifications & Requirements - Days Site Services & Facilities Engineer

  • Recognised apprenticeship, ideally electrically qualified
  • Experience in maintenance on plant services, facilities and utilities, from an FM client site background or manufacturing site 
  • Manufacturing Industry Experience preferred
  • Mechanical / Electrical Biased
  • NVQ Level 3 equivalent
  • Utilities/Boiler/Refrigeration/Water systems/PSSR/LOLER
