A great opportunity for an experienced Quality Engineer to step into a senior role on one of the UK's flagship infrastructure programmes on a freelance basis. You'll be working across multiple sites, ensuring works meet the highest technical and regulatory standards. This is a chance to take ownership of quality processes on complex civil engineering schemes, while supporting and developing project teams.
Key Responsibilities
路Lead quality assurance activities across a range of project packages
路Prepare, review, and maintain Inspection & Test Plans
路Ensure works meet design, technical, and regulatory standards
路Compile and manage records required for project handover
路Provide guidance and coaching to less experienced engineers
路Act as the main point of contact for quality discussions with stakeholders
路Promote best practice and drive improvements to existing processes
About You
路Background in civil engineering (HND/Degree desirable)
路Solid track record of working on large-scale infrastructure schemes
路Strong understanding of quality standards and assurance within construction
路Experience with highways, structures, or earthworks is an advantage
路Confident communicator, able to work effectively with multiple parties
路CSCS card holder with the right to work in the UK
