A creative and inclusive primary school in Aylesbury is seeking an inspiring Art Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to spark creativity and help pupils explore self-expression through visual arts.

This welcoming school places a strong emphasis on creativity, self-confidence, and personal growth. Pupils are encouraged to express themselves, think critically, and engage with a wide range of artistic media. Staff work collaboratively to provide a broad and engaging curriculum that nurtures every child’s individual strengths.

As the school’s Art Teacher, you’ll lead exciting and inclusive art lessons across all primary year groups. You’ll help pupils develop skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, and other media while fostering their confidence and imagination.

• Deliver a high-quality art curriculum across KS1 and KS2

• Encourage creativity and self-expression through a variety of artistic techniques

• Organise and display pupils' artwork around the school and in exhibitions

• Contribute to whole-school projects, themed weeks, and creative days

• Ensure lessons are engaging, inclusive, and appropriately differentiated

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers with a strong background or qualification in art.

You will need:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

• A passion for art and creativity in education

• Strong classroom management and organisational skills

• The ability to engage and inspire pupils of all abilities

• A proactive, positive, and collaborative approach
