The school is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. The school hiring are rated as a "Good" school overall by Ofsted. It is a secondary school that caters to students aged 11-18 years old. It is situated in a lovely area with great connections in and out of London.

About the Role:

• Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience and department needs.

• Deliver dynamic, engaging, and challenging lessons that inspire students and support high levels of attainment.

• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school and national expectations.

• Participate in departmental planning, moderation, and development sessions.

• Contribute to the wider school community, including after-school clubs, enrichment programmes, and whole-school events.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent internationally recognised teaching qualification.

• A relevant degree in English, English Literature, or a closely related subject.

• Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting, including curriculum planning and assessment.

• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.

• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

• A commitment to continued professional development and collaboration with colleagues.
