This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students to explore the world of literature, language, and communication. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ambitious Early Career Teacher (ECT), this role offers a supportive environment with plenty of professional growth opportunities.

• Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

• Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that bring literature, language, and writing to life

• Foster a love for reading, critical thinking, and creative expression in your students

• Monitor student progress, provide effective feedback, and support individual learning needs

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop high-quality resources and curriculum planning

• Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome)

• Have experience teaching English in a secondary school setting

• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a creative, engaging approach to teaching

• Be committed to raising attainment and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

• Possess strong communication and classroom management skills

• Be dedicated to student wellbeing, inclusion, and safeguarding
