The Ideal Candidate:

Curriculum Planning and Development:

  • Develop and deliver an engaging and comprehensive English curriculum that aligns with national standards and school objectives.

  • Design lesson plans that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities within the classroom.

Classroom Instruction:

  • Deliver effective, inspiring English lessons to secondary school students (KS3 and KS4).

  • Use diverse teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance student understanding and foster engagement.

  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation, critical thinking, and collaboration.

Assessment and Evaluation:

  • Regularly assess student progress using both formative and summative assessments.

  • Provide constructive feedback to students, guiding them to improve and build on their achievements.

  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student grades and progress.

Differentiation and Individualised Instruction:

  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students, including those with varying abilities and learning styles.

Parent and Stakeholder Communication:

  • Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and upcoming events.

Requirements:
