Job Title: English Teacher (GCSE level)
Salary: MPS.
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.
Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Start Date: September 2025
Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable English teacher to join the team. This permanent role is perfect for someone who is truly passionate about English language and literature and wants to share this passion for the subject with their students, encouraging them to work to the best of their ability!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective English lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share teaching strategies.
- Participate in school activities and events.
- Build positive relations with each class to encourage engagement.
- Communicate with parents about behaviour if necessary and on parent’s evenings.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching English at the secondary level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
