Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire
Start Date: November 2025
Contract Type: Full-time – Term Time Only
Salary: £90– £120 per day
About the Role:
A thriving primary school in Aylesbury is seeking a motivated HLTA to cover classes across KS1 and KS2 from November. This role is perfect for someone experienced in supporting learning who is ready to take on extra responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver lessons in the absence of the teacher
- Lead small group interventions to boost progress
- Support teachers in planning and delivering high-quality lessons
- Contribute to the wider life of the school
Requirements:
- HLTA status (or significant classroom experience at a higher level)
- Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
- Confidence teaching across KS1 and KS2
