Our client is a leading employer in the Aylesbury area. They have been experience an extended period of growth and are now looking to recruit a new Engineering Stores Assistant to manage and maintain the engineering inventory.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Managing and organizing inventory: Materials, parts, equipment
- Utilising the CMMS system for Stock Checks and Reports
- Receiving deliveries and operating the forklift and trucks
- Booking in and out inventory
- Managing returns and transportation
- Liaison with Engineering and Procurement
- Maintaining a tidy stores area
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Experience and understanding of Engineering
- Experience in a stores role
- Computer literate
- A forklift license would be beneficial
