Monday-Friday Days

£50,000-£55,000 (DOE) - Rising to £61,000 with training plan!

Our client is a leading food manufacturing company, the site is part of a larger national organisation. Due to growth and further expansion within the factory, they are looking for a Site Service Engineer to join the facilities & site services team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical & mechanical fault finding, repairs and testing of all site services & infrastructure that supports manufacturing
  • 75% PPM's and testing of systems, 25% reactive & breakdowns
  • Industrial boilers, steams systems, vacuum pumps, air compressors, driers
  • CHP plant, water & effluent management, refrigeration - CO2, Ammonia & Glycol
  • HVAC, facilities, chillers, utilities
  • Site services projects & continuous improvement work
  • Working on pumps, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Must be a multi-skilled engineer - electrical & mechanical fault finding skills
  • Dealt with pumps, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics
  • At least 5 years' experience outside of training/apprenticeship as a site services, utilities or facilities
  • Minimum NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 qualified
  • Must have completed some form of apprenticeship
  • Refrigeration experience - CO2, ammonia & glycol
  • Beneficial if worked in high-care food manufacturing
  • Must have worked with industrial boilers
  • BOAS qualified
  • 17th or 18th Edition beneficial
