Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join a thriving and inclusive school community in Bourne End.
Responsibilities:-
Lead and manage the provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

Develop, implement and monitor individual support plans (EHCPs) tailored to student needs

Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, parents/carers, and external agencies
-
Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and maintain accurate records
-
Promote inclusive teaching practices and provide training/support to staff on SEN strategies
-
Monitor and report on the progress of pupils with SEND, ensuring high expectations and outcomes
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
-
National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete)

Proven experience working with students with SEND

Strong understanding of SEN legislation and inclusive education practices

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
