TimePlan Education is currently recruiting for Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistants to work in a specialist school setting located in Wingrave, Buckinghamshire. The school supports children and young people aged 10-19 with a range of complex learning needs, including Autism and associated behaviours.

We are seeking dedicated, flexible, and compassionate individuals who are available to start immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in both short-term supply and longer-term roles, depending on experience and availability.

Role Overview:
You will support students with additional needs in both classroom settings and on a one-to-one basis. Responsibilities include implementing individual learning and behaviour plans, encouraging positive engagement, and working closely with teaching staff and therapists to support students' progress and wellbeing.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (particularly Autism and complex behaviours)

  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach

  • The ability to build positive relationships and work collaboratively as part of a team

  • Flexibility and reliability, especially for day-to-day assignments

Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ) are beneficial but not essential. An Enhanced DBS with Child and Adult workforce on the Update Service is required or must be obtained.
