A forward-thinking secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their vibrant Design & Technology department this September.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver inspiring, practical Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 teaching experience is desirable)

Create a safe, organised, and stimulating learning environment that encourages experimentation and skill development

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support growth

Collaborate closely with colleagues to develop innovative schemes of work and exciting projects

Promote health, safety, and food hygiene standards in all practical sessions
What We’re Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Food Technology

Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology, Nutrition, and practical cookery

Excellent classroom management and lesson planning skills

A genuine passion for food education and inspiring young people

Ability to engage students of varying abilities and foster a positive learning atmosphere
