Description
Reporting to the UK based controller and International FC,, the Senior Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations across the European region. You will lead a team of five and play a critical role in group reporting, statutory compliance, cashflow and treasury management, risk mitigation, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Preparation and consolidation of regional financial reports and presentation to group stakeholders.
- Oversight of cashflow, treasury, and reporting packages for holding companies.
- Management of audits, tax compliance, and statutory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
- Enhancement of internal controls and mitigation of financial risks.
- Business partnering with regional leaders, HQ finance teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Leadership of statutory reporting and sub-consolidation for overseas auditors and banking partners.
- Driving improvements in financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.
- Playing a key role in new finance systems implementations and ERP improvements.
- Developing and coaching the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Profile
A ideal candidate for this Senior Finance Manager should be:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years in a senior finance leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise in group reporting (IFRS & local GAAP), statutory accounts, and audit.
- Proven experience working in an international, multi-entity finance environment.
- Exposure to manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, or retail sectors is advantageous.
- Experienced in financial systems and strong Excel capabilities.
- Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence at senior levels.
- Adaptable, proactive, and organised with a strong business acumen.
- Skilled at coaching, developing teams, and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
Job Offer
Base salary of up to circa £80,000
