Our client is seeking a skilled Gluing Machine Minder to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual with a passion for precision and an eye for detail.

Duties include:

  • Operate and maintain gluing machines in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.
  • Set up and adjust the machine parameters to achieve the desired gluing specifications.
  • Monitor the machine during operation to ensure proper gluing, folding, and sealing of printed materials.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to verify product adherence to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimise workflow and meet production targets.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:

  • Previous experience operating gluing machines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up and adjust machine parameters.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for quality control.
  • Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in basic maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights and weekends, if required.
