Our client is seeking a skilled Gluing Machine Minder to join their team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual with a passion for precision and an eye for detail.
Duties include:
- Operate and maintain gluing machines in accordance with production schedules and quality standards.
- Set up and adjust the machine parameters to achieve the desired gluing specifications.
- Monitor the machine during operation to ensure proper gluing, folding, and sealing of printed materials.
- Conduct regular quality checks to verify product adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance tasks.
- Collaborate with the production team to optimise workflow and meet production targets.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Any other duties required.
The successful candidate will have / be:
- Previous experience operating gluing machines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to set up and adjust machine parameters.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for quality control.
- Ability to read and interpret job orders, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Proficient in basic maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights and weekends, if required.
