Pearson Whiffin are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Manager on behalf of our client based in Mid Kent. We are looking for a patient and confident individual with strong HR function experience who has handled a variety of complex ER cases and is passionate about building a positive and people-focused workplace culture.

Duties:

Manage a range of employee relations (ER) cases, providing sound advice and ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
Collaborate with leadership to shape and nurture a positive, inclusive workplace culture
Provide HR guidance across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
Analyse HR data and systems to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practice
Lead on the implementation and optimisation of HRIS and other HR systems, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption
Coordinate and manage all responsibilities across recruitment, HR administration, and advisory functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and consistent support to both employees and managers
Act as a calm and approachable presence within the business, supporting managers and employees with confidence and empathy
Manage and support the HR team, providing clear direction, coaching, and fostering a collaborative working environment

The successful candidate will have:

A calm, composed approach with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels
Proven experience working with HRIS platforms and leading or supporting system implementations
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience managing a range of employee relations (ER) cases
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
A genuine passion for fostering a positive, engaging, and inclusive workplace culture
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and support stakeholders
Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
CIPD qualification (or working towards it) would be an advantage
