Reed Business Support are currently seeking a proactive and organised Supply Chain Assistant to join our client's team in Aylesford. As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's supply chain processes.
Supply Chain Assistant Day-to-day of the role:- Assist in the management of supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination.
- Support the planning and execution of supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and prepare reports on stock status and movements.
- Assist in the analysis of supply chain data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements related to supply chain activities.
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Assistant or similar role in supply chain management.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with supply chain management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
