Are you a heating or plumbing engineer with experience of repairing and servicing heating systems?
Do you want to join the renewable energy sector and work with some of the best domestic heat pump technology currently available?
You will work closely with the service and technical teams, carrying out warranty and chargeable repairs, servicing, and diagnostics on ground source, air source, and exhaust air heat pumps. Full training is provided, and candidates from heating, plumbing, or HVAC backgrounds looking to transition into renewables are encouraged to apply.
In this role, you will travel to pre-arranged appointments, diagnose and repair systems efficiently, maintain your van and stock, and provide detailed electronic reports. You will also provide feedback to the wider technical team regarding emerging issues and contribute to a supportive service team environment.
Excellent opportunity for a heating or plumbing engineer to move into the renewable energy sector. Full training on heat pumps and progression into technical and management roles are available within a rapidly growing and well-respected company.
The Role:
- Service, repair, and maintain renewable heating systems
- Work on ground source, air source, and exhaust air heat pumps
- Carry out in-warranty and out-of-warranty repair work
- Complete electronic reports and maintain accurate records
- Maintain company van, stock, and tools efficiently
The Person:
- Experience in heating, plumbing, or HVAC service/repair essential
- Strong diagnostic skills with knowledge of hot and cold water systems
- F Gas qualification advantageous; electrical knowledge beneficial
- Professional, reliable, and able to work on own initiative
- Motivated to learn new skills and develop in renewable technologies
