What is an Assistant Quality Manager?

The Assistant Quality Manager will oversee the implementation of quality and regulatory policies and strategies, ensuring compliance with both internal and external food safety standards and customer requirements. This role involves managing product inspections, coordinating QA/QC documentations, leading audits, and serving as a key quality and food safety business partner across various departments.

What to expect?
  • Manage and lead all certification, customer, and third-party audits.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing partners to drive continuous improvement and compliance.
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports, summarizing information and trends.
  • Provide support, coaching, and training on the company's food safety and quality program.
  • Manage Root Cause, Corrective, and Preventive Action implementations.
  • Monitor trends and emerging issues within the quality and food safety environments.
  • Lead and manage HACCP/TACCP/VACCP for the site.
  • Facilitate, monitor, and manage product controls, incident handling, and customer complaints.
  • Conduct Preventive Control and other general food safety audits.
  • Assist in driving Quality strategy and improvements.

  • Relevant Chemical or Food Science degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in quality control/assurance in food/ingredient/supplement manufacturing.
  • Experience in laboratory settings preferred.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in ERP and LIMS systems.
  • High level of business English.
