Magazine Scanning Operative

Location: Aylesford
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Shift Pattern:

  • Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 07:00 – 18:30

  • Saturday: 07:00 – 15:30

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Magazine Scanning Operative to join our busy production team. This is a hands-on role based on a conveyor station, where you’ll be responsible for scanning and processing batches of magazines with speed and accuracy.

You’ll ensure each batch is completed correctly before scanning the barcode on the computer and entering the data into the system. Attention to detail and consistency are key to maintaining quality and workflow standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate on a conveyor station, scanning magazines accurately and efficiently

  • Complete each batch and process the corresponding barcode through the computer system

  • Maintain an organised and tidy workstation

  • Meet daily productivity and accuracy targets

  • Follow all health and safety and data handling procedures

About You
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, repetitive role

  • Basic computer skills for barcode scanning and data entry

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work the listed shift pattern

  • Previous experience in warehouse, scanning, or production work is an advantage but not essential
