A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production Supervisor to join a well-established manufacturing business operating within the food, beverage, and nutrition sectors. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a proactive and hands-on individual looking to take the next step in their leadership career.

You'll be joining a fast-paced and growing production environment in Aylesford, Kent, overseeing a key shift and driving performance, safety, and continuous improvement across the floor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support production and warehouse teams to ensure the shift runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Monitor production plans and ensure timely batch completion in line with schedule
  • Maintain compliance with internal processes and customer audit standards
  • Complete shift documentation, reporting, and admin accurately and on time
  • Train and support team members, maintaining up-to-date training records
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and planning
  • Manage timesheets, holiday approvals, absence records, and other HR-related duties
  • Support ongoing improvement projects and contribute to factory performance targets
  • Uphold high standards of health & safety, hygiene, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

About You

  • Minimum 2 years' experience supervising or managing a production team
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands-on approach
  • Able to multitask, prioritise workload, and work under pressure
  • Confident dealing with KPIs, training, planning, and compliance
  • Experience in project work and continuous improvement is highly desirable
  • Comfortable managing agency staff and working closely with HR functions
